Tags: fitness | fitness trainer | Health | nesta | Personal Trainer | training certification | wellness

1) What types of programs are offered?
NESTA offers a wide variety of certification programs including, but not limited to: Personal Fitness Trainer, Mind Body Fitness Specialist, Biomechanics Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Coach, Holistic Stress Management, as well as certification in yoga and Pilates and many more.

2) What are the advantages of NESTA over other certification programs?
Unlike other certification programs, NESTA includes educational components on business and practical real-world examples so our certified trainers have a competitive advantage in the health and fitness industry. We offer several optional workshops to offer more hands-on experience.
In addition, our PFT 2.0 program includes cutting-edge Polar heart rate monitor technology and is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) to ensure top standards of certification.

3) How long does it take to become certified?
NESTA’s certification programs are all four-years in length. Most other programs are two-years, but we feel that this is not a sufficient amount of time to learn a particular area of certification as well as all the business components that are included in the curriculum.

4) How do I study for the test?
Simply put, you have to study everything for the test. It is a two-hour, all-encompassing test to verify that you have, in fact, been learning and retaining material throughout the whole program.

5) Is there a study test that I can take?
No, NESTA does not offer a study test. Once again, we want to make sure that you have been learning the material.

6) Where do I take the test?
For all programs except for the PFT 2.0, you take the test on your own. We use the honor system and expect that you follow our Code of Ethics when taking your test. For the PFT 2.0, you must take the proctored exam at a specified location.

7) What do I do if I don’t pass the test?
You are allowed to repeat the test after a 60-day period. You will not be charged a retest fee. Please review our Policies for more information.

8) How much do the programs cost?
They vary depending on which area you wish to persue. Please visit NESTA Programs and select your area of interest for pricing. You can order 24-hours a day on our secure website. We accept all major credit cards, money orders, and bank checks. Sorry, no personal checks.
