I find that one of the setbacks people have in being successful in anything is their attitude. I don't mean just a bad attitude, but some people have it in their head that they are only so good or that they are avarage and want to stay that way. Perhaps it has something to do with their upbringing or a need to fit in with the status quo. I'm sure it has a lot to do with fear.
Yet people admire celebraties. People wish to be them and we have to get it into our heads that we can be whatever we want to be. This quote is my mantra. Everytime I feel fear; Everytime I fall into the habit of being someone I know I'm not, someone less than my true self, I recite this wonderful quote:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”--Marianne Williamson
Move, run, train, dance, stretch, eat the nutritious food that is there to heal you, to sustain you, to make you stronger. It's a celebration of life. We are enjoying our bodies, our air, our earth. It is not a punishment. It is a reward. You can quote me on that one

That's a beautiful quote, beautiful concept. Thank you for sharing it with us.
These are some fairly heavy concepts. I have always pondered the dynamic of feeling of inadequacy and fear of success. Very thought provoking.
