"WHY ECITS?"
The East Coast Instructor Training school is in its 16th year of operation. ECITS has provided the highest quality education and certification programs for Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors. Unlike other programs, ECITS provides 10 - 15 hours of "hands on practical" training and 40 hours of academic training. ECITS requires each student pass an academic and practical exam, prior to receiving their certification. ECITS certification is a Nationally Recognized Certification and provides quality job placement and assistance with the top fitness facilities in the United States. Each of our instructors has 10 - 15 years hands on experience in the health and fitness field, education in exercise science, more than one Nationally Recognized Certification, and Specialty Certifications

The East Coast Instructor Training School's programs are designed to educate our membership or anyone with an interest in health and fitness. The program is ideal whether you choose to enter the fitness industry as a professional or choose to use the knowledge for your own health and wellness. The emphasis is on education and practical application of knowledge. Any and all fitness levels and age groups are welcome and have successfully completed our course. Your training will be broken up into segments of classroom training, gym floor training and participation in various assessment skills and workshops. Whether you decide to become a personal trainer or group fitness instructor, the education and workshops are tailored to prepare you to teach in a group fitness environment or design and implement one on one training programs.
