Question from Erika Gottesman: I've tried and tried and tried, but I just dont have the patience to stretch. Can you recommend the 3 best/most necessary stretches for a person who hates to stretch!?

Answer from Donna Flagg: You can bend at the waist and place your hands on the floor (and if not, hold your ankles). You can make slight adjustments to your legs (by opening them further apart than your hips and then bringing them close together, turning feet out and parallel) and get mostly everything stretched (except your quads) in your lower body. That's one. Then, standing, you can do basic side stretches with and without the arm going overhead. This gets your neck and obliques, and part of your abs. And lastly, you can lay on your back, bring you knee over your body to twist your torso (making an "S" with your body)to stretch your back, lats and even chest (if you leave your arm hanging out to the side). That's three stretches and basically your whole body has been hit. The only thing missing is the quads, and I would recommend getting them on your way either going down to, or getting up from, the floor.

Answer from Debra Strougo: To add to Donna's answer: It is super easy to stretch your quads. All you have to do is stand with one knee soft (lets say your left), and put your left hand on your waist. Then take your right arm-extend it behind you and take hold of your right ankle behind you. Pull your right ankle gently up towards your butt and this will stretch out your right quad. Remember to keep your knees together while you do this stretch, You can hold that for a few seconds and then switch sides. Thsi will stretch out yoru quads.

Answer from Emily Splichal: If you could only do 3....I'd say the most effective on alleviating postural strain are....1. Hip flexors 2. Pecs 3. Calves
