Answer from Nicole Ohebshalom: As fellow New Yorker on the go I always have one of these emergency foods listed below in my bag. If I am looking for something crunchy I would have frozen grapes, celery with almond butter or nuts. For something sweet: wheatgrass, greek yogurt with ripe fruit, sprouted date bread with jam or a sweet vegetable. For something salty: sauerkraut, salted edamame, fresh lime/lemon juice in water, steamed vegetables with tamari or umeboshi vinegar For something creamy: avocados, purred soups coconut water (great for after-workout or onset of a cold!) or a smoothie. Does you body need some protein? Try berries with coconut water or yogurt and sunflower seeds, whole grain toast with almond butter, cottage cheese with cinnamon, or a hard boiled eggs. Begin to listen to your body in relation to your lifestyle that day and you'll see what you need. Enjoy! Be well, Nicole
